NO INTERVIEWER. NO JOURNALIST. JUST TWO LEGENDS.
‘The Power of Women’ is a series bringing together 30 of the world’s most philanthropic, markedly intelligent, and extraordinary women from a selection of industries including the world of entertainment, sports, politics, and humanitarianism.
Each episode has between 2 to 4 women paired up in casual and honest conversation over drinks. The viewer has fly on the wall access to a revealing and intimate setting through a cinematic experience.
POW discusses concepts such as ageism, sexism, human rights, sustainability, mental health, animal rights, politics, spirituality, survival in a male dominated industry, glass ceiling, fashion, TV, film, music, and female empowerment.
Our media has been flooded with stories of abuse and harassment which have been bravely shared by box office stars and domestic workers alike, which has led to the drowning of some of the most powerful men who have shaped our very culture.
We as creative women producers and the team behind the critically acclaimed Sky series, ‘Living the Life’, are providing a voice for our contributors through our video and social media platforms.
Our series allows us all to reflect on the diverse mix of female experiences, and gives us a chance to rewrite the world as we see it.
The Power of Women Productions will be donating a part of our proceeds from the series to support the organisations that our Queens are involved in.
Enjoy the series and we look forward to hearing from you with your own personal experiences.

OUR QUEENS
COMING SOON
CELEBRATING SUCCESS, INSPIRING OTHERS.
We meet some of the UK’s most successful, inspirational and powerful Black women to gain an insight into their mindsets, lives and journey to the top. They are not only A-listers but also leaders we look to in all areas of society, responsible for trendsetting firsts and impressive cultural shifts in the past 20 years.
In each episode, we will meet one main contributor, allowing the viewer a unique fly on the wall insight into their day to day routines, capturing each woman in their most natural settings.
This includes scenes ranging from their places of work, spending time with family and friends, in order to celebrate the various elements of each woman’s multi-faceted identity, heritage and culture.
It’s not new news that Black women specifically face discrimination based on their race and gender, as well as being visibly under-represented across all areas of the UK’s work force. And we’re on a mission to change that. We’ll get an insight into their daily routines, meeting friends, family, colleagues and those that they have inspired along the journey.
There’s no topic off-limits, with each episode touching upon different areas of life, society and culture including: work-life, gender equality, discrimination, racism, motherhood, politics and much more.
POW MENA mixes pioneering women who led the way for change with younger women who are continuing to grow in all industries and have gained respect from their peers for their abilities in their careers.
POW TV brings together some of MENA’s most philanthropic, powerful, extraordinary women.
All trailblazers throughout their lives, these women come together to discuss their experiences when faced with discrimination and head on challenges to make their voices heard and their influence felt through their determination for change, which at times took great courage.
Each episode is unique; focusing on hard hitting topics and presents stories told in an honest and engaging way but with of course the greatest respect for MENA culture as it stands.
There is no “journalist” and no “interviewer”, just pairings of exceptionally inspirational women being completely open and honest with each other.
